Comments

Comment (Deposit): DISCONTINUOUS DEPOSIT OF MAGNETITE-ILMENITE IN ANORTHOSITE

Comment (Deposit): "The deposit extends 1500 ft. along the southesast side of a northeast trending ridge, but is not continuous. The strike is northeast and width of the bodies varies up to 10 ft. Contact of maggetite-ilmenite with anorthosite is sharp, and schistosity in country rocks is parallel to the trend of the magnetite body. No ilmneite was seen in a polished section of material from this deposit."
