Comment (Geology): COUNTRY ROCK IS A HIGHLY-FRACTURED, CHLORITIC GNEISS IN FALUT CONTACT WITH TERTIARY VOLCANIC AND SEDIMENTARY ROCKS. MINERALIZED ZONES ARE ALTERED QUARTZ MONZONITES CONTAINING QUARTZ, FELDSPARS, HEMATITE, SERICITE, WITH TRACE AMOUNTS OF MUSCOVITE, CHLORITE, ILMENITE, MAGNETITE, LEUCOXENE, SPHENE, LIMONITE, ADATITE, AND ZIRCON.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): MATRIX NO. 1 REPRESENTS TONNAGE AND GRADE COMPUTED FROM THE EASTERNMOST OF TWO ZONES DEVELOPED IN THE MINE. MATRIX NO. 2 REPRESENTS TONNAGE AND GRADE COMPUTED FROM THE WESTERNMOST OF TWO ZONES DEVELOPED IN THE MINE.

Comment (Deposit): THIS PROPERTY WAS INVESTIGATED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WHIPPLE MOUNTAINS WILDERNESS STUDY AREA (BLM) IN 1980. BACKUP INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND IN THE WFOC MINERAL PROPERTY FILES. U.S. BUR. MINES STATISTICAL FILES SHOW PRODUCTION FOR THE YEARS 1929, 1932, 1933, AND 1941.
