Comment (Deposit): THESE THREE CLAIMS COVER MOST OF APRIL FOOL HILL. THEY OVERLAP EACH OTHER, THE DEXTER NO. 12 PATENTED PROPERTY TO THE NORTHEAST, AND THE UNSURVEYED TIP TOP AND APRIL FOOL CLAIMS TO THE SOUTHWEST. THESE THREE CLAIMS WERE SURVEYED IN 1906 FOR THE MANHATTAN STANDARD GOLD COMPANY. NOT PATENTED. MOST CLAIMS AREA LIES ON BLM LAND, ONLY A SMALL PORTION OF ARORO (SIC NAME FOR ARROYO) IS ON USFS LAND. THE TIP TOP AND APRIL FOOL CLAIMS WERE OPERATED BY THE SEYLER- HUMPHREY GOLD MINING CO. AND THIS WAS THE INITIAL DISCOVERY AREA FOR LODE GOLD IN THE MANHATTAN DISTRICT. COMPLETE DEPOSIT NAME: ARORO, BALD EAGLE, AND KOSMOPOGO FRACTION LODES.
