Comment (Commodity): Ore Materials: lead carbonates, galena, anglesite, cerussite, wulfenite

Comment (Commodity): Gangue Materials: calcite, clay, barite, quartz, iron oxide

Comment (Deposit): Ore bodies in the district are replacements of limestone in jasperoid along a fracture zone. The jasperoid zone is up to 40 ft wide. Wulfenite crystals occur on calcite within the zone.

Comment (Development): The Jackson Mine was discovered in 1906. It was the district?s main producer, and was operating in 1951

Comment (Identification): The Nevada portion of the Tecoma district has the only production, however the remaining resource is in the Utah portion of the district. UTM location is to the most productive mined area of the Nevada Tecoma district.

Comment (Location): The mineralized area occurs on the west side of the southern end of a low ridge .

Comment (Workings): The Tecoma district mines are developed by many tunnels, short shafts, drifts, stopes, and the 250-ft. Jackson shaft with 6 levels. More recent surface exploration has occurred in the district.
