Comment (Commodity): Several surface samples assayed more than 0.1 % U3O8.

Comment (Geology): Uranium occurs in arkosic beds in Oligocene(?) Farisita Conglomerate.

Comment (Location): MIning claims cover 7,000 acres in NW Huerfano County, about 8 miles NW of Gardner, in secs 3-10, 17, 18, T 25 S, R 70 W; and secs 12, 13, T 25 S, R 71 W.

Comment (Production): A small amount of ore was produced, yielding uranium and vanadium.
