MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments

Comment (General): NI 43-101, p. 11 of 35: The initial discovery of mineralization at Clarkson Hill was made in the 1950s and "small amounts of ore were mined and shipped for treatment from the old pit area located in Section 17, T31N, R82W" ( Ljung et al, March 1974). However, USGS and USBM databases list the Clarkson Hill Claims as a surface mine prospect with no reported production. The surface disturbance, based on site observation by the author is shallow (less than 20 feet in depth) and limited in aerial extent. Surface disturbance is limited and no infrastructure, tailings, or mine waste is apparent at the site. Drill data utilized in the estimation of mineral resources at the Clarkson Hill Claims herein reflect a deeper horizon and is not affected by the presence of "old pit".

Comment (Exploration): NI-43-101, p. 3 (p. 4 of 35): This report provides a summary of mineral resources, Mineral resources are not mineral reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. The Clarkson Hill Claims were explored beginning in the 1950's but more extensively from the 1970's through the mid 1980's with the principal exploratory work and drilling completed by the Minerals Exploration Company.

Comment (Ownership): NI-43-101, p. 2 (p. 3 of 35): Energy Metals Corporation (US), a company existing under the laws of Nevada that is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Energy Metals Corporation ("EMC-USA") holds a 100% interest in and to the Clarkson Hill Property, and Artha holds a 100% interest in and to the Additional Clarkson Hill Claims, and holds the Artha State Lease pursuant to the terms and conditions thereof. All contiguous claims at Clarkson Hill are subject to the terms of the Energy Metals Agreement.
