Description: HANSONBURG DISTRICT IS LOCATED ALONG A MAJOR FAULT ZONE WHICH FORMS THE WEST-FACING ESCARPMENT OF THE NORTHERN OSCURA MOUNTAINS. THE FAULT ZONE TRENDS NORTH-SOUTH BUT IS PROGRESSIVELY OFFSET TO THE EAST BY SMALLER TRANSVERSE FAULTS.
