Comment (Development): MUCH RECENT, 1970'S (& EARLY 1980'S ?), DRILLING BY INSPIRATION. INSPIRATION REPORTED TO HAVE DROPPED PROPERTY IN 1982.

Comment (Location): SMALL PROSPECTS, SIMILAR TO BOHEMIA BASIN DEPOSITS, OCCUR CLEAR OVER TO WEST COAST OF YAKOBI ISLAND LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).

Comment (Deposit): TROUGHLIKE DEPOSIT NEAR BASE OF BASIN-SHAPED BODY OF NORITE. SEVERAL SEPARATE SULFIDE BODIES.

Comment (Workings): EXPLORED BY TUNNEL, TRENCHES & PITS, DRILLING, ETC., OVER 60 YEARS, BUT NO PRODUCTION. MAY BE MINED BY OPEN PIT METHODS WITH 2.5 TO 1 STRIPPING RATIO.

Comment (Geology): DEPOSIT IN NORITE UNIT OF GABBROIC TO GRANITIC INTRUSIVE COMPLEX WHICH HAS INTRUDED MESOZOIC METAVOLCANIC, METASEDIMENTARY, AND GRANITIC ROCKS.
