Comment (Deposit): SEVERAL QUARTZ-CALCITE VEINS WITH FREE AU, PYRITE, ARSENOPYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE; MAIN VEIN: 2 TO 3 FT WIDE, AVE. 30 IN, STRIKE OF N 30 W WITH 70 TO 75 E DIP; SIMILAR, SMALLER VEINS AT PROSPECT HAVE HAD VERY LITTLE EXPLORATION

Comment (Geology): DEPOSIT IS RELATED SPATIALLY AND PROBABLY TEMPORALLY TO UPPER JURASSIC PLUTONS. GABBRO INTRUDING ALTERED, SHEARED BASALT. SKOLAI GROUP; METAVOLCANICS WITH GABBROIC INTRUSIVES.
