Comment (Workings): DEVELOPED BY 70 FT SHAFT INCLINED 60 DEGREES, AND 12 FT OPEN CUT, CAVED AND/OR WATER-FILLED BY 1920; 3 STAMP-MILL IN USE, 1915-16, HAD A RATED CAPACITY OF 10-12 TPD; MOST ORE MINED FROM OPEN-CUT.

Comment (Geology): SHEAR ZONE TRACED FOR 3 MI; TRANSVERSE TO SCHISTOSITY OF COUNTRY ROCK AND CROSSCUTS SET OF BARREN QUARTZ VEINS WITH N 40 DEGREES E STRIKE AND 50 DEGREES SE DIP; MINERALIZED "VEIN" IS PARALLEL TO CONTACT WITH DOMINANTLY MARBLE UNIT 300 FT TO THE E.
