Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Small-scale placer workings may still be present at this location.

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Small-scale placer mining in 1902 and 1903 recovered about 60 ounces of gold from a bench along Grace Gulch (Collier and others, 1908). This bench is a possible continuation of the one mined on the south side of lower Buster Creek (NM304). A northeast-trending high-angle fault juxtaposes marble and schist units near this site (Hummel, 1962 [MF 247]).
