Comment (Deposit): FAULTS IN GRAYWACKE CONTAIN QUARTZ VEINS UP TO 3 FT. THICK. LARGEST FAULT STRIKES N 41 DEGREES W AND DIPS 62 DEGREES-64 DEGREES SW.

Comment (Workings): 2 TUNNELS DRIVEN. NORTHERN TUNNEL IS 45 FT. LONG. SOUTHERN TUNNEL IS CROSSCUT 150 FT. LONG, WITH WINZE. SEVERAL PITS AND TRENCHES UP TO 10 FT. DEEP CUT. ONE OLD TUNNEL CAVED IN AS OF 1939.

Comment (Commodity): NO DATA ON METALLIC MINERAL CONTENT OF VEINS. GOLD PROBABLY PRESENT, BUT PROBABLY NOT IN MINEABLE QUANTITY.

Comment (Deposit): GOLD NOT SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED IN USGS B 929, P. 133-134, BUT AMOUNT OF WORKINGS INDICATE THAT IT WAS PROBABLY PRESENT.
