Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Becker, 1898

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = This occurrence consists of a 12-inch thick quartz vein which strikes N. 70 E. and dips southeast. It cuts Cretaceous sandstone and shale and fills one of a series of rectangular joints. Minor amounts of arsenopyrite were observed. Acidic dikes occur in the vicinity.

Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Chugach-type low-sulfide gold-quartz vein (Bliss, 1992; model 36a.1), turbidite-hosted gold vein.
