Comment (Deposit): MOST OF GOLD NEAR OR ON UPPER PART OF DECOMPOSED BEDROCK. OVERBURDEN 6-12 FT. THICK; 5-10 FEET OF GRAVEL OVERLAIN BY 1-2 FT. OF MUCK.

Comment (Geology): MAJOR.UNITS: BEDROCK IS QUARTZ-MICA SCHIST AND QUARTZITE SCHIST WITH MANY QUARTZ VEINS ALONG CLEAVAGE.
