Comment (Location): USGS MF-371, LOC. 2. DEPOSIT ALONG NORTH BANK OF YUKON RIVER ABOUT .5 MILE WEST OF LANCASTER CREEK, ACCROSS FROM SWANSON ISLAND SPIT. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).

Comment (Development): TUNNEL DRIVEN 110 FT. ON VEIN ABOUT 1890 IN FIRST ATTEMPT AT LODE MINING IN INTERIOR ALASKA. NOT ENOUGH ORE TO ESTABLISH A MINE.

Comment (Deposit): 2-3 FT. (AT SURFACE) WIDE VEIN OF SHEARED AND RUSTY QUARTZ IN LOWER PALEOZOIC MICACEOUS QUARTZ SCHIST. VEIN CONTAINED SMALL AMOUNTS OF GOLD AND SILVER.
