Comment (Deposit): GOLD IN STREAM AND BENCH PLACERS. DEPTH TO BEDROCK IS 14 TO 200 FT. COURSE OF PRODUCTIVE GROUND DIVERGES FROM THAT OF CREEK. PRODUCTIVE GROUND AVERAGES 6 FT. THICK. ABUNDANT PLACER SCHEELITE.

Comment (Geology): STREAM FORMED BY CONFLUENCE OF GILMORE AND PEDRO CREEKS. ; REG.COM: PLACER SCHEELITE FROM NEARBY LODES.

Comment (Location): USGS MF-410, LOC. 53. TAILINGS AS MUCH AS 5 MILES LONG AND 1 MILE WIDE VISIBLE ON FAIRBANKS (D-2). COORDINATES GIVEN FOR MILL NEAR CENTER OF TAILINGS. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).
