COORDINATES GIVEN FOR LOCATION 17, NEAR MOUTH OF GOLD RUN. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).

Comment (Development): NO MINING REPORTED. IN 1911, 40 FT.2 OF BEDROCK PROSPECTED BY A CROSSCUT AT A DEPTH OF 60 FT. RETURNED $1 PER FT.2 OF BEDROCK (GOLD AT $20.67). OTHER PROSPECTING WAS LESS SUCCESSFUL.

Comment (Deposit): GOLD PROSPECTS DISCOVERED IN 1911 PROVED TO BE OF LOW GRADE AND SMALL EXTENT. SOME CASSITERITE IN HEADWATER TRIBUTANES, BUT NOT IN SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS INCLUDED A SHAFT 40 FT. DEEP AND A CROSSCUT 100 FT. LONG.
