Comment (Deposit): TWO CLAIMS STAKED FOR RADIOACTIVE MINERALS IN 1956, AND ONE CLAIM STAKED NEARBY FOR AU, FE, AND AG IN 1960. APPARENTLY THERE HAS BEEN NO FURTHER WORK AFTER THE INITIAL STAKING ON THESE CLAIMS AND NO OTHER MINERAL DEPOSITS ARE KNOWN NEARBY.

Comment (Location): ABOUT THREE MILES WEST-NORTHWEST OF PETERSBURG, SOUTH OF THE ESTUARY AT THE MOUTH OF PETERSBURG CREEK. APPROXIMATE LOCATION OF TWO CLAIMS STAKED FOR RADIOACTIVE MINERALS IN 1956, AND ONE CLAIM STAKED NEARBY FOR AU, FE, AND AG IN 1960 (U. S. BUREAU OF MINES, 1980).
