Comment (Location): DEPOSIT IS LOCATED ON THE WEST FLANK OF THE CABALLOS MOUNTAINS ABOUT 0.5 MILES SOUTHEAST OF PALOMAS GAP.

Comment (Production): FLUORSPAR PRODUCTION REPORTED AS 865 TONS.

Comment (Deposit): NORTHEAST TRENDING VEINS RANGING FROM 1 FT. TO 4 FT. WIDE CONTAIN BRECCIATED LIMESTONE FRAGMENTS CEMENTED BY CALCITE, QUARTZ AND FLUORSPAR. SOME GALENA IS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE VEINS AND WHERE OXIDATION IS EXTENSIVE VANADINITE, CERUSSITE, ANGLESITE AND WULFENITE ARE PRESENT. DEPOSIT ORIGINALLY COVERED BY 4 UNPATENTED CLAIMS (1906). RELOCATED AND COVERED BY 2 UNPATENTED CLAIMS (1929).

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED IN 1966 CONSISTED OF A 90 FT. DEEP SHAFT WITH 50 FT. OF DRIFTING, A 30 FT. INCLINE WHICH PENETRATES A NATURAL CAVE, TWO 150 FT. DEEP VANADIUM PROSPECT SHAFTS AND AN OPEN CUT WITH A NEARBY SHAFT 20 FT. DEEP.
