Comment (Geology): THE NEW YEAR AND ROY CLAIMS ARE SOUTH OF THE NEARLY EAST-WEST GARRISON MONSTER TRANVERSE FAULT.

Comment (Deposit): N-S TO N40E, SE AND NW STEEPLY DIPPING FISSURES FILLED WITH MALACHITE, TENORITE, AND LIMONITE. A 1125 FT. LONG ADIT NORTH OF THE COPPER MINERALIZATION FAILED TO INTERSECT THE FISSURES.

Comment (Workings): THE MAJOR WORKING ON THE NEW YEAR CLAIM IS AN EXPLORATOR, ADIT 1125 FT. LONG, TRENDING APPROXIMATELY SOUTH. THE OTHER WORKINGS ARE TRENCHES, SHORT ADITS, AND PITS ON NORTH TO NORTH TO NORTHEAST-STRIKING FISSURES.
