Comments

Comment (Geology): MINERALIZATION IS CONTROLLED BY FISSURES IN ALTERED WALLROCKS; THE HOSTROCKS ARE A SUCCESSION OF FLOWS OF LATITE. THE MAIN HORNBLENDE-BIOTITE-LATITE CONTAINS BLOCKS OF HORNBLENDE AUGITE-LATITE. THE COUNTRY ROCK IS INTERSECTED BY SLIP PLANES (NW-SE; DIP NE). VOLCANIC BRECCIA CONSISTS OF SUBANGULAR TO SUBROUNDED LITHIC FRAGMENTS, COMMONLY UPTO 2 INCHES IN LENGTH, SET IN A DENSE MOSTLY APHANITIC LATITE MATRIX.
