Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: COMMENCED DEVELOPING PROPERTY IN JANUARY 1936. 27' VERTICAL SHAFT SUNK THROUGH LAVA TO SLATE BEDROCK; 42' CROSSCUT EWARD FROM BOTTOM OF SHAFT INTO 20' OF GRAVEL. THE GRAVEL IS FIRMLY PACKED, CONTAINS LARGE BOULDERS, AND IS ABOUT 7' DEEP. 3 MEN EMPLOYED IN THE PROSPECTING WORK.
