Comment (Production): OPERATED IN 1909. SAID TO HAVE BEEN A GOOD PRODUCER FOR SOME TIME.

Comment (Workings): OPENED THROUGH A 60-FT. SHAFT IN 1892.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: DRIFT MINE. GRAVEL WAS CEMENTED, WITH COBBLES SELDOM LARGER THAN FIST SIZE. THE CHANNEL WAS 350 FT. WIDE AND WAS MINED 6 TO 7 FT. HIGH. THE GOLD WAS FINE AND FLAKY AND WAS HIGH GRADE, SELLING FOR $19 AN OUNCE.
