AT BOTTOM OF WINZE, CROSSCUT WAS DRIVEN N 40 E, FOR 40 FT., AT THIS LEVEL THERE ARE OVER 2000 FT. OF CROSSCUTS AND DRIFTS. 45 FT. ABOVE MAIN TUNNEL IS ANOTHER TUNNEL 600 FT. IN LENGTH. DEWEY WORKINGS; 4 TUNNELS, UPPER TUNNEL 125 FT. LONG DRIVEN NW AND STOPED TO SURFACE FOR 75 FT., 25 FT. BELOW IS AN OPEN CUT AND50 FT. TUNNEL. 50 FT. BELOW THIS IS A NW TUNNEL 75 FT. LONG, ORE STOPED TO TUNNEL ABOVE. LOWER TUNNEL, DRIVEN N 65 W FOR 180 FT., THEN DRIFTS NW 100 FT. TO WINZE 75 FT.

Comment (Production): MAIN PRODUCTION 1917 - 1920 WHEN SMELTER RECOVERY AVERAGED 6.75 % CU, 10 % PB, 5.8 OZ AG/TON, SOME GOLD.

Comment (Deposit): COPPER MINERALS ASSOCIATED WITH BODIES OF SILICATE MINERALS FORMED AS ALTERATIONS OF GOODSPRING DOLOMITE NEAR SILL-LIKE BODIES OF QUARTZ MONZONITE.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: DOLOMITE IS WIDELY EXPOSED ON WEST SIDE OF CLARK MTN., IT HAS A GENERAL NW STRIKE, SW DIP, IN MINE AREA IT IS HIGHLY DEFORMED.
