Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: SERPENTINE FOOTWALL, SLATE ON HANGING WALL. VEIN 70 FT THICK BETWEEN HOST ROCKS, BUT ORE VEIN IN FOOTWALL SEPARATED FROM CONTACT VEIN BY THIN LAYER OF GOUGE; VEIN AVERAGES 20 FT IN THICKNESS; SAME ORE VEIN MINED AT ADJACENT RAWHIDE CLAIM. NORTH OF SHAFT QUARTZ AND AMPHIBOLITE SCHIST CROP OUT.
