Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comment (Production): MUCH OF ORE AVERAGED ABOUT 14% ZINC, 1 TO 2% LEAD, 1 TO 2 OUNCES SILVER PER TON BUT ORES AVERAGING 1 TO 7% COPPER AND ORE AVERAGING 1 TO 23% LEAD HAVE BEEN SHIPPED.
Comment (Development): FIRST MINED FOR AG; LATER PB, ZN, CU. ORE SHIPPED IN 1937, 1943, 1944. FIRE DESTROYED ALL SURFACE EQUIPMENT IN 1944, BUT RECONSTRUCTION WAS UNDER WAY IN 1944 AND SHIPMENTS RESUMED IN 1945.
