Comment (Deposit): THE SHEAR ZONE CONTAINS COPPER OXIDE AND SULFIDE MINERALIZATION IN A QUARTZ STRINGER.THERE IS AN ONE FOOT SHEAR IN THE GRANITE.
Comment (Workings): A 125 FT ADIT FOLLOUS A N10E TRENDING FAULT. THE ADIT IS LOCATED ON A HILL TO THE NORTH OF THE SHAFT. A LINE OF VERY OLD WORKINGS INCLUDES A SIZABLE SHAFT AND ADIT AND FOUR OR FIVE PROSPECTS.
Comment (Location): SINGLE SHAFT APPROXIMATELY ONE MILE EAST OF THE POLE-LINE ROAD,WHICH IS THE ONLY ACCESS TO THESE AREAS, ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE MOUNT GRANT DISTRICT.
Comment (Geology): AGE OF WORKINGS ESTIMATED 1900-1920, BASED UPON DIMENSIONED LUMBER AND OVERALL STATE OF THE WORKINGS. THIS AREA WAS CLAIMED IN 1977. TRENCHING PROBABLY 1977 VINTAGE. SAMPLES SUBMITTED FOR GEOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS 1981.
