Comments
Comment (Development): THESE MINES DATE FROM THE 1870'S ; ECON.COM: MAY HAVE BEEN SOME PRODUCTION AS LOCAL MILL HAS TAILINGS.
Comment (Workings): A LARGE ADIT IS CAVED BUT LOOKS TO HAVE CROSS-CUT THE VEIN. A LARGE ADIT WITH DUMP THAT IS COMPLETELY OVERGROWN AND NOT SHOWN ON THE MAP. SOME UPPER WORKINGS ARE SHOWN AS A PROSPECT.
Comment (Location): NEAR HEAD OF CORY CANYON
Comment (Geology): THERE IS NO VEIN EXPOSURE AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE ADIT. THE HOST ROCK FOR THE VEINS IS A DEEPLY WEATHERED GRANITE.
Comment (Deposit): SOME ORE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN PROCESSED IN THE SMALL MILL TO THE NORTH. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
