Comments

Comment (Development): WORKED BETWEEN 1907 AND 1918, AND IN 1935. IN MARCH 1936 THE MINE WAS IDLE. A SMALL TONNAGE OF ORE ESTIMATED TO CONTAIN ABOUT 0.5 % W03 WAS MINED IN 1956. CURRENTLY BEING PROSPECTED BY OWNE-R, WILLIAM DALE(?)(UNCERTAIN OF LAST NAME) WHO LIVES IN IMLAY -CANYON, BY BULLDOZER TRENCHING. ANACONDA IS SUPPOSED TO EXAMIN-E THE PROPERTY. OWNER STATES THAT ENTIRE VEIN ZONE.WILL PAN FR-EE GOLD. HE STATES THAT HE RAN 10 YDS OF DUMP THROUGH HIS PLAC-ER MILL AND RECOVERED ABOUT $40./YD IN GOLD.

Comment (Location): GOOD ACCESSIBILITY BY MAINTAINED DIRT ROAD IN IMLAY CANYON. UTM LOCATIONS FOR THE 3 NBMG SAMPLES AT THE PROPERTY A-RE AS FOLLOWS: 2526- N4494775, E400200; 2527- N4494975, E40025-0; 2528- N4494975, E400250.

Comment (Commodity): ORE MINERALS NOT GIVEN IN THE LITERATURE

Comment (Production): ESTIMATED FROM TAILINGS;

Comment (Geology): QUARTZ FISSURE VEINS IN OR NEAR FAULT ZONES AND SOMETIMES AT CONTACTS OF DIABASE DIKES.

Comment (Deposit): THE IMLAY MINE WAS WORKED BETWEEN 1907 AND 1918 AND IN 1935. MARCH 1936 THE MINE WAS IDLE. THE MINE WAS DEVELOPED BY A VERTICAL SHAFT 250 FT. DEEP AND AN ADIT 1500 FT. LONG DRIVEN FOR DRAINAGE. A MILL WAS OPERATED NEAR THE MINE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV

Comment (Deposit): QUARTZ FISSURE VEINS IN OR NEAR FAULT ZONES AND SOMETIMES AT CONTACTS OF DIABASE DIKES. ZONE OF QUARTZ VEINS AND STOCKWORKS IS ABOUT 10 M WIDE. WALLROCK IS SERICITIZED PHYLLITE. THE QUARTZ VEIN WORKED- IN EARLY 1900'S IS ABOUT 0.33 M WIDE. SB-PB OXIDE STAINS, ABU-NDANT LIMONITE CASTS AFTER PYRITE. AREA IS NEAR CONTACT WITH U-PPER MEMBER PRIDA CARBONATES APPROXIMATELY 30-40 M ABOVE CONTA-CT. DEPOSIT APPEARS TO HAVE SOME POTENTIAL FOR BULK-MINEABLE A-U. GOOD ZONE OF QUARTZ STOCKWORKS AND ABUNDANT FE OXIDE AFTER -PYRITE IN PHYLLITES WITH LOCALLY STRONG SERICITIC ALTERATION.

Comment (Workings): A VERTICAL SHAFT 250 FT DEEP AND AN ADIT 1500 FT LONG DRIVEN FOR DRAINAGE. A MILL WAS OPERATED NEAR THE MINE.CURRENTLY, NUMEROUS BULLDOZER TRENCHES
