Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Workings): THE LODE STRIKES NORTH-SOUTH IN QUARTZITE AND SEEMS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONTACT BETWEEN THE QUARTZITE AND UNDERLYING INTRUSIVE GRANITE. DUMP MATERIAL INDICATES THAT THE DEPOSIT CARRIES MAGNETITE-HEMATITC MATERIAL OF GOOD GRADE. THE DEPOSIT IS PROBABLY OF MAGMATIC ORIGIN. THE ORE IS MASSIVE AND HAS AN IRREGULAR FRACTURE; SOME OF IT IS POROUS OR VESICULAR. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THE DEPOSIT CONTAINS SEVERAL THOUSAND TONS OF FAIR-GRADE IRON ORE.
