Comment (Location): CHOSE A POINT IN W 1/2 SEC.
Comment (Deposit): THE WORKINGS FOLLOW AN IRREGULAR, ROLLING VEIN, WHICH LOCALLY ATTAINS A MAXIMUM WIDTH OF ABOUT 6 INCHES IN A ZONE OF DISTURBED AND ALTERED GRANITIC ROCK ABOUT 3FT WIDE. IN THE LOWER 45 FT OF THE SHAFT, THE VEIN PINCHES OUT AND MERGES WITH LOW ANGLE JOINTS. SACKED ORE FROM THIS LEASE CONTAINS DISSEMINATED PROUSTITE, ANDA LITTLE OF THE MINERAL WAS LEFT IN THE UNMINED QUARTZ LENSES. THE ORE SHOWS INCIPIENT OXIDATION.
Comment (Deposit): THE NET PROFITS ABOVE THE 300-FT LEVEL FROM OCTOBER 1866 TO DECEMBER 31,1871, WERE $326,761.91. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
