Comment (Geology): LOCALLY THE SLAVEN CHERT OF THE DEVONIAN AND THE CHERTS AND SHALES OF VALMEY FORMATION HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY TERTIARY GRANITES QUARTZ VEINS FILL FRACTURES, FAULTS AND JOINTS WHICH HAVE BEEN ACTIVELY EXPLORED. NORTHERN PROSPECT IN SEC. 13 SUGGESTS A MULTIPLE INTRUSION INTO GRANODIORITE OF QUARTZ, A DARKER PHASE DIORITE AND DARK DIKE MATERIAL. VEINS HAVE PYRITE COPPER SULFIDES, ARSENOPYRITE AND AG(?).
Comment (Location): APROX. 5.5 MILES WEST OF HIGHWAY #21 VIA A DIRT ROAD ALONG THE DRAINAGE OF MUD SPRINGS GULCH.
