Comment (Deposit): YUBA DIKE WAS INTERSECTED, CROSSCUT FOR 25 FT AND A 4-5 FT THICK ORE SHOOT WAS FOUND OF MILLING ORE. THE EAST END OF THE DRIFT ON THE DIKE IS AT THE 150 FT STATION OF THE SHAFT OF THE MASCOT SILVER MINING CO., THE SUCCESSOR OF THE BOSTON PIOCHE MINING CO. IN THIS PART OF THE DIKE IT WAS REPORTED THAT AN ORE SHOOT WAS FOUND 100 FT LONG, 2-3 FT THICK CARRYING 57% PB AND 157 OZ /T AG AND $10/T AU (1932). THIS ORE WAS FOUND BY FOLLOWING A QUARTZITE FISSURE" VEIN INTO THE PORPHYRY.
