Comments

Comment (Deposit): VEIN CONSISTS OF WHITE TO CLEAR CHALCEDONIC QUARTZ, VEIN IS BANDED, HAS WAVY DARK LINES AS BANDS (PROBABLY FINE-GRAINED SULFIDES, SOME BRECCIATED AREAS, CEMENTED WITH LATER QUARTZ, DISSEMINATED RUBY SILVER (FINE-GRAINED PYRARGYRITE) IN THE BRECCIA FRAGMENTS, VEIN IS VUGGY, CLEAR QUARTZ CRYSTALS LINE VUGS. THE ADIT IN THE EAST SLOPE HAS NO VEIN MATERIAL ON ITS DUMP; PERHAPS IT WAS DRIVEN TO INTERSECT THE VEIN TO THE WEST, BUT DID NOT. THE DUMPS ON THE WEST DO HAVE VEIN MATERIAL ON THEIR DUMPS. LIMESTONE WALLROCK NEAR THE TWO WESTERN ADITS IS BLEACHED AND MARBLEIZED. A N10E, VERTICAL VEIN OUTCROPS IN A SMALL CUT ON THE WEST RIDGE, BUT EXPOSURES ARE TOO POOR TO DETERMINE IF THIS IS THE MAIN VEIN OR NOT.

Comment (Workings): 2 ADITS ON WEST SIDE OF HILL, ONE LONG ADIT ON EAST, NEAR STAMP MILL FOUNDATION SMALL CUT ON WEST RIDGE

Comment (Location): ON RIDGE BETWEEN RAWHIDE AND YELLOWSTONE CANYONS . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)

Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY AT TIME OF EXAMINATION IN 1985
