Comments
Comment (Workings): OPEN STOPE ABOUT 50 FT DEEP, 40 FT ALONG STRIKE.
Comment (Location): NW END OF FIREBALL RIDGE, ACCESSIBLE BY GOOD E-W ROAD NEAR POWER LINES. . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY AT TIME OF EXAMINATION IN 1985. OLD WORKINGS; STOPING INDICATES SOME SMALL PAST PRODUCTION.
Comment (Deposit): A 4-FT QUARTZ VEIN HAS BEEN OPEN-STOPED TO SURFACE. VEIN IS NEAR CONTACT BETWEEN DIORITE AND YOUNGER ANDESITIC VOLCANICS. OLD TIMBERS AND ORE PILLARS ARE HOLDING THE OPEN-STOPE, WHICH APPEARS TO BE 30-40 YEARS OLD (?) SAMPLE INCLUDES MINERALIZATION FROM THE VEIN, ORE-PILLARS AND DUMPS.
