Comment (Deposit): SHAFT SUNK IN WHITE WELDED ASH-FLOW TUFF ADJACENT TO RHYOLITE DIKE WHICH IT APPARENTLY ENCOUNTERS AT DEPTH, AS PIECES OF QUARTZ VEIN AND DIKE MATERIAL COVER THE DUMP (SAMPLE 3910). SAMPLE 3911 FROM THE NEAR BY SHAFT/ADIT WAS CHIPPED FROM QUARTZ STRINGERS IN A 4-6 FT FAULT ZONE BEARING N 75 W, 40 NE. COUNTRY ROCK HERE IS ANDESITE AND THE INCLINE WHICH FOLLOWS THE DIP SLOPE MAY HAVE INTERCEPTED THE FIRST SHAFT AT DEPTH.

Comment (Workings): IN 1910 AT TIME OF SURVEY, PROPERTY WAS DEVELOPED BY 4 CUTS, 1 SHAFT, 1 INCLINE WITH DRIFTS AND 1 CUT, TUNNEL WITH WINZE AND DRIFTS. IN 1986, SEVERAL ADITS, ONE SHAFT, ONE INCLINE ALONG NW FLANK OF DICKEY PEAK. SHAFT IS LARGE, DOUBLE COMPARTMENT
