Comment (Location): INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
Comment (Development): STAKED IN 1979 BY ERICKSON'S GROUP; WORKINGS DATE FROM 1907-1908 PERIOD; NO ACTIVITY WHEN EXAMINED IN 1986
Comment (Deposit): WORKINGS ARE ALONG A 20-40-FT WIDE SILICIFIED ZONE IN RHYOLITE THAT FOLLOWS A N 45 E-BEARING, DIPPING STEEPLY NW. LOCALLY THERE ARE OUTCROPS OF HIGHLY SILICIFIED ALTERED TUFF (??). THE CONTACT ZONE BETWEEN THE SILICIFIED ZONE OR "VEIN" AND RHYOLITE IS BLEACHED, WHITE ARGILLITE; THE "VEIN" IS COMPOSED OF MINOR QUARTZ STRINGERS. MUCH OF THE VEIN AND ARGILLIZED CONTACT ZONE APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN LEACHED. BOXWORK STRUCTURES ARE EVIDENT.
Comment (Workings): A HAND-DUG INCLINE THAT STEEPENS TO A SHAFT AT DEPTH
