Comment (Deposit): BOLDLY OUTCROPPING SILICIFIED STRUCTURE CUTTING ANDESITE WALL ROCKS. OUTCROP IS SILICIFIED AND IRON-OXIDE STAINED, VUGGY IN PLACES, PARTIALLY LEACHED AND LOCALLY DISPLAYING BOXWORK STRUCTURES. THE FAULT-VEIN MAY BE THE GREAT EASTERN VEIN SYSTEM REFERRED TO BY SCHRADER (1947). THE COUNTRY ROCK IS ANDESITE AND THE VEINS APPEAR TO BE RHYOLITIC IN PART. THE VEIN/ANDESITE CONTACT ZONE HAS BEEN ALTERED IN PART TO A WHITE ARGILLITE.
