Comment (Location): DEPOSIT IS REPORTEDLY LOCATED AT THE NORTH BASE OF A PROMINANT DARK-COLORED PEAK ABOUT 4 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE TIPTON RANCH.

Comment (Deposit): MANGANESE OXIDES OCCUR IN SEAMS, VEINLETS AND IRREGULAR PODS ALONG TWO SHEAR ZONES WHICH ARE ABOUT 150 FT. APART AND HIGHLY SILICEOUS. THE MANGANIFEROUS ZONES ARE AS MUCH AS 30 FT. THICK AND EXPOSED FOR LENGTHS UP TO 30 FT. 6 UNPATENTED CLAIMS.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED IN 1961 CONSISTED OF SEVERAL SHALLOW OPENCUTS AND PITS.
