Comment (Workings): SEVERAL SHAFTS SUNK TO BEDROCK FOR PROSPECTING AND DRIFT MINING. ABOUT 600 FT. DOWNSTREAM GROUND RAN $.65 PER FT2 (AU AT $20.67 OZ.), BUT WAS NOT MINED; ABOUT 300 FT. UPSTREAM OF WORKED AREA SHAFT SUNK 62 FT. DID NOT FIND PAY GRAVEL.

Comment (Geology): MAJOR.UNITS: THE BEDROCK IN CREEK WORKINGS IS A CLOSELY FOLDED PHYLLITE. BEDROCK AT MOUTH IS SCHIST. ; REG.COM: LODE GOLD SOURCE PROBABLY CLOSE.

Comment (Deposit): STREAM GRADIENT APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET PER MILE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT

Comment (Development): DEEP MINE OPERATED, 1914. DRIFT MINING, 1915 STREACH ABOUT 450 FT. LONG WAS WORKED OUT BEFORE 1933. LAST MENTION OF ACTIVITY WAS REPORT OF PROSPECTING IN 1933.

Comment (Deposit): PAY STREAK ON PHYLLITE BEDROCK; ABOUT 60 FT. DEEP. VERY LITTLE GRAVEL, OVERBURDEN MAINLY MUCK. PAY STREAK ABOUT 3,000 FT. LONG AND 5-18 FT. WIDE.
