Comments
Comment (Deposit): A NARROW QUARTZ-ANTIMONY VEIN NEAR THE CONTACT OF THE PUMPERNICKEL FORMATION AND LEUCOGRANITE. THE VEIN IS ON THE CONTACT IN PLACES BUT MORE COMMONLY IS IN THE GRANITE. PODS AND INDIVIDUAL STIBNITE CRYSTALS ARE SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE VEIN, ASSOCIATED WITH PYRITE AND TETRAHEDRITE. PYRITE AND TETRAHEDRITE OCCUR IN THE VITREOUS WHITE,MASSIVE TO RARELY SACCHAROIDAL OR DRUSY VEIN MATTER; MODEL NAME COULD ALSO BE: SIMPLE SB.
Comment (Workings): FOUR TRENCHES, A 77-FT INCLINED SHAFT WITH A 10-FT DRIFT. IN 1984, SHALLOW INCLINED SHAFT WITH SMALL DUMP; NEARBY OTHER SHALLOW WORKINGS, BULLDOZER TRENCHES AND SOME OLDE-R ROTARY DRILLING.
Comment (Geology): PODS AND INDIVIDUAL STIBNITE CRYSTALS COMMONLY WITH QUARTZ ARE SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE VEIN, ASSOCIATED WITH PYRITE AND TETRAHEDRITE.
Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT IS DEVELOPED BY FOUR TRENCHES AND A 77-FT. INCLINED SHAFT WITH A 10 FT. DRIFT EXTENDING NORTH FROM THE BOTTOM ON A NARROW QUARTZ-ANTIMONY VEIN NEAR THE CONTACT OF THE PUMPERNICKEL FORMATION AND LEUCOGRANITE.
