Satelite View

Comment (Location): UTM EST. W 1/2 29 ?, E 1/2 30? TWO ADITS ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF SMALL TRIBUTARY TO BRUSH CREEK.
Comment (Deposit): VEIN
Comment (Workings): 2 SMALL ADITS.
Comment (Geology): VEIN ALONG SAME ZONE OF SLATE SERPENTINE CONTACT AS KATE HARDY AND BRUSH CREEK MINES. IN PLACES SERPENTINE CUTS SLATE SHARPLY, IN PLACES THERE IS A CRUSHED ZONE; SO IT IS THOUGHT THAT THE SLATE YIELDED UNEVENLY TO PRESSURES EXERTED DURING SERPENTINIZATION. QTZ. IN DISCONTINUOUS STRINGERS, SOMETIMES FOLLOWING SLATY CLEAVAGE, SOMETIMES CUTTING ACROSS IT AND INTRODUCED AFTER SLATE CRUSHING, SINCE STRINGERS ARE UNBROKEN.
