Comment (Geology): BEDROCK STRIKES NORTH AND DIPS EAST. PYRITE DISSEMINATED IN CARBONACEOUS SLATE. BEDROCK HIGHLY METAMORPHOSED ; MAJOR.UNITS: BEDROCK IS PALEOZOIC SCHISTS (SOME GARNETIFEROUS), SLATE, CHERT, GRIT, AND INTRUSIVE GREENSTONE. ; REG.COM: PLACER GOLD DERIVED FROM LOCAL BEDROCK.
