Comments
Comment (Location): ACCURATE LOCATION IS FOR MAIN ENTRANCE. MINE IS LOCATED ON THE EAST FLANK OF THE BLACK RANGE IN THE GILA NATIONAL FOREST.
Comment (Production): APPROXIMATE VALUE OF PRODUCTION FROM 1880 TO 1932 WAS REPORTED TO BE 20000 DOLLARS.
Comment (Deposit): DEPOSITS OCCUR AS STRINGERS AND SHOOTS OF ORE IN A NORTHWEST TRENDING FISSURE VEIN WHICH RANGES FROM 4 FT. TO 6 FT. WIDE. IN THE LOWER LEVELS OF THE MAIN SHAFT THE VEIN WIDENS TO ABOUT 20 FT. AND SULFIDE MINERALIZATION BEGINS TO REPLACE OXIDES. 2 CLAIMS, MINERAL SURVEY NUMBER 1098, COVERING 37.774 ACRES.
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED IN 1934 CONSISTED OF TWO INCLINED SHAFTS ABOUT 200 FT. AND 400 FT. DEEP, FOUR DRIFT LEVELS ABOUT 100 FT. APART AND A FEW PITS. THE 100 FT. AND 200 FT. LEVEL DRIFTS TOTAL ABOUT 600 FT.
