Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT IS AN FE-MN GOSSAN, AN OXIDIZED SIDERITIC FERROMANGANESE MIXTURE WITH SILVER OCCURRING IN GALENA.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF AN INCLINE SHAFT 100 FT DEEP WITH TWO LEVELS, A SHORT ADIT, AND SEVERAL TRENCHES.

Comment (Geology): LIMESTONE IS CONTORTED AND LOCALLY BRECCIATED AND BLEACHED.

Comment (Development): THIS MAY HAVE BEEN THE FIRST MINERAL DISCOVERY IN THE SHARP AREA OF THE DISTRICT. IT WAS RELOCATED BY CHARLES SHIELDS IN 1958.
