BEDROCK IS QUARTZITE AND QUARTZITE SCHIST VEINED WITH QUARTZ. GRAVEL IS COMPOSED OF DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF SCHIST, WITH SOME GRANITE FROM DIKES ALONG THE RIDGE BETWEEN MILLER AND EAGLE CREEKS (897-C).
