OPERATED ON INGLE CREEK USING HYDRAULICS BEDROCK CONSISTS CHIEFLY OF GREEN SCHIST AND QUARTZITE, CUT BY NUMEROUS QTZ VEINLETS. THE AU HAS PENETRATED DEEPLY INTO CREVICES NECESSITATING MUCH HAND QUARRYING. THE GRAVELS ARE SHALLOW (2-3 FT) WITH LG. BOULDERS. THE GRAVEL IS SUBANGULAR AND BESIDES SCHIST & QUARTZITE, INCLUDES GRANITIC ROCKS THAT HAVE BEEN DERIVED FROM THE SAME TYPE OF BEDROCK FARTHER UPSTREAM (B897).
