QUARTZ LENSES AND STRINGERS IN SCHIST ARE PROBABLE SOURCE OF GOLD. GRAVEL IS SCHIST WITH SOME QUARTZAND LIMESTONE. CONCENTRATE CONTAINS PYRITE, HEMATITE AND CASSITERITE. REF. POINT IS LOCATED AT CONFLUENCE OF OLD GLORY CREEK AND PINNEL RIVER.
