Comment (Deposit): CYPRUS MINING CO. PATENTED 63 FIVE ACRE (315 ACRES) MILLSITES AT THE MOUTH OF WEST NORTHUMBERLAND CANYON IN THE BIG SMOKEY VALLEY TO PROCESS HEAP LEACHABLE GOLD ORE. OPERATIONS WERE ACQUIRED BY WESTERN STATES MINING CORPORATION AND GOLD ORES WERE PROCESSED AT OR NEAR THE EAST EDGE OF THE OPEN PIT OPERATIONS NEAR THE CREST OF THE TOQUIMA RANGE, JUST EAST OF MT.
