Comments

Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Open cut reported by Jansons and others (1984). However, site could not be found during exploration by private industry in 1986 (Bill Ellis, personal commun., Jan. 2000). One grab sample collected in the early 1980s contained 42 ppm Cu.

Comment (Geology): Age = Probably Tertiary based on the age of the host rock (Nelson and others, 1985).

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = This prospect reportedly consists of quartz veinlets in Orca Group slate (Jansons and others, 1984). One grab sample collected in the early 1980s contained 42 ppm Cu.

Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive

Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Jansons and others, 1984
